Hi there, I'm reporting back regarding a solution I found for this hum issue I was having with the Crack. From the advice I received on this forum, I went ahead and bought the Hum-X device off eBay, and it cured my RFI/EMI problem completely when plugged with the PC source. The only remaining issue is when I am playing a computer game and my Video Card goes into overdrive, then there is a slight buzzing sound that comes through. Otherwise, when no gaming is happening, everything is as silent as a church mouse. Hope this helps others.
