so he did it, eh? that's too bad as he's a nasty cheater who's a stain on the sport. i think they should have walked him or plunked him every time he came to the plate 2 home runs ago.

I think most people kind of go...So What?

There's such a huge asterisk by that record it's really sad. Kind of like someone running a sub-8 second 100 meter race downhill.

What's the point?

I thought it looked like he was wearing a Nats jersey personally.

Edit: Guess I was wrong, just saw the sportscenter reply, it was a Mets fan. Ain't that some poo.

But yes, on the topic of Bonds, he was not wrapped up in the steroid controversy by chance. I saw a picture of him a few decades back, then now. Hulking muscles from such a skinny frame...that plus his attitude just doesn't make me want to acknowledge him at all.

I'm happy for him, I think it's a big accomplishment. As far as the era goes, if the sport wants to be clean, then the whole era and all records made or broken within it gets nuked. The fact is we don't know who did or didn't do steriods. The suspensions prove that. As far as Bonds being a jerk, there are many many athletes and celebrities who are jerks, so I don't vilify him for that either.
