hi headfi-ers, I discovered these headphones jus yesterday. I felt in love with their sound sig.

is there other cans that sound similar? I currently only have a ipod touch 1g, mustang, PFEs. I don't think i would utilise a desktop amp yet, is 250 ohms too much for mustang?

DT-150 is awesome indeed. So far I haven't found any cans that are really close in sound signature. Maybe SA5000 is closest.

From everything Ive read about these 2 cans, they seem like they would have very different sound sigs.

seems like it. DT150 sound sig is the only Beyer i like.

hmm, maybe i should just get a budget desktop amp than using mustang to drive.

I love the sound sig of the DT150. I think they are sort of a hybrid between the HD580 and the K240 Sextett.
