beyer t70 & t70p NEW!

It is about 17 mm when worn and 20 mm uncompressed. There is a thin padding between the driver and your ear too, that is the same soft material than the earcups and feels very good. It is only 1mm thick I think.

What about soundstage and imaging compared to T1

it's unfair to comparing a closed headphones(t70/t70p) to open headphones(t1) although if i'm not mistaking, t1/t5p only has a slight advantage over t70/t70p(i only listen t70 amping with a1 for a min and t70p amping with sr71 for 2, 3 songs)

i remember it's basically like the typical beyer dt770/880/990 2005 version or t5p/t1.  not as good as t5p/t1 but better than dt770/880/990.

i had a very specific problem with comfort of T1/T5p, where the top of one cup/driver touched/'pinched' the top of my ear.. Afaik a couple more people have that too, but it's not particularly common. heh, guess I wouldn't know before trying. On the other hand, maybe it's to do with the angled drivers.

Brazilectro: Latin Flavoured Club Tunes, Session 2 [Disc 1]  song  Muneca is the closest tune that I have regarding to what I consider Techno. The bass and subbass is very present and very dry not wobbly.

then you probably going to have the same issue.  i remember t70p is basically like the same as dt770/880/990 or t1/t5p.  lighter than t5p, i think

Thanks. heh idk. I think the issue might've had specifically to do with the grill in front of the driver being slightly angled, and that bit bothering me (if it's straight, might still be ok). At this point I can't really remember. I should've updated my review for it :frowning2:

I haven't owned the DT880 in a while, so very hard to compare those. I only sold my DT770/600 this month, though, and I am very sure the T70 is significantly better.

Yes has 1/8" with screw-on 1/4".

Awesome thanks. Guess they'd fit perfectly into my micro amp then, without the need of an adapter.

Always would love to hear more impressions whenever you got the chance. I'll be ordering these as soon as they come in stock on Amazon. Still, after reading the only review on these, it's hard to get a good grasp of what these sound like and what they do best. Hopefully, they are just "good" in most regards. Hope you enjoy them!

One last question, is the foam inside the earcup "curved" or "domed" toward your ear like the DT880 was? I found the comfort of the DT990 higher to the DT990 due to that exact reason. DT990 had flat foam that didn't bother my ear, and the DT880 had curved foam that irritated me a lot more. Either way, earpads sure do look comfy.
