Hi guys,

I managed to blow my TMA-1s and I'm having the standard "what do I get?!" syndrome!

I was thinking between the Ultrasone 900s, Beyer T51p and the Aedle VK1, but I'm open to any other suggestion for something with a good, natural soundstage, but a warm-ish heavy sound. (Lots of R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz and EDM lives on my phone)

Something small/transportable would be good, mainly because I'll be using it as a commuting headphone.Pricing limit would be around the £400 (around $600) mark at max

Thanks in advance guys :)

The Beyerdynamic on-ears are really good, such as the T51p (or T51i). These are pretty well balanced, you sound like you want a little more bass but they're worth a look.

Also the KEF M500 is a magic portable to consider.

that´s an odd assortment ... why do you have the Ultrasone on your list? doesn´t fit (in any way) to the rest of the pack.

cheers

Well I originally thought of getting those instead of the TMA-1s a few years ago, just in case there were a few pros for getting those instead of the other two
