i'm thinking getting a beyer(770, 600ohm) but does anybody know what's the difference between the velour, the leatherette(+15) and the leather(+25)? which is more comfortable?

Beyer velour earpads are quite resiliant and last for years and years. The major point of failure is that after 10 years or so the foam goes flat.

One of the Big Advantages is that they are washable. Just pull 'em off the flange and throw them in the laundry with your sheets.

I don't know about beyer pleather earpads, I've never seen them, but AKG and Sony pleather earpads don't like going for a spin in the washing machine, sometimes come out in pieces.

Leather, obviously, brings a whole new level of maintenance.
