I had the dx90 but it magically disappeared. Now I have to spend money on new equipment. My budget is around $500.
Current headphones: HD 588, Q701, 1964 ears v6, se846, DT-880(coming in a few days)
I used to power everything off my DX90 and it worked well, but I might consider getting something different this time.
Should I get the DX90 again and pocket $80? Or should I spend $300 on a full size dac/amp and then get the dx50 as my portable? Or should I spend all $500 on a portable dac/amp and run it from my phone?
I loved the DX90, but there might be something I like more out there!
