Please advise on the portability, SQ and noise isolation.....
Best over-ear/on-ear portable headphones for around $100US

For on-ear I don't think anything under $100 can compete with the sound quality of the JVC S500! Portability isn't bad since they fold. Noise isolation is reasonably good for on-ear phones, but not as good as a closed set of over-ear.
