The CD3000 is the best i ahve heard so far for Metal and Rock in general...

BTW this same question have been asked IIRC about 20 times before in other threads, why not doing a search first????

It sounds like a good plan to me, it seems like you really want the RS1 so get it and be happy. Don't confuse the "more neutral" of the MS-PRO with the more laid-back of the Senns. You will have room for future source and/or amp upgrades, but I think you will be very happy with your system right off the bat as well. Most people think it is wiser to spend more on the source, but if the RS1 is the one you really want, then go for it.
