Hello,
What are the best in-ear monitors for athletes? I'm looking to buy the best in-ear monitors for my nephew's 18th birthday. He races mountain bikes and marathons so I need something that will stand up to athletic rigor. I also want the best sounding headphones and I have a budget under $500. He does not need noise cancellation. Sound quality and ruggedness are of top priority. He uses an iPhone to store music. He lives in sunny So Cal so sweating could be an issue. I've been looking at the Jaybird Vista 2 but I'm not sure. Your recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you.

what did you choose ? i use jaybird vista 1 for the last ~3 years and i'm quite hapy at least with the suitability for sport. But it's interesting if anything else well-designed for runners exists
