Hal Rockwell
500+ Head-Fier
I was searching for cheap but decent sounding IEM's and came across Raxconn. This manufacturer is based in Taiwan and specializes in making all sorts of headphones and computer headsets. From looking at the manufacturers site I understood that they were concentrating on producing fashion oriented models and less on sound quality.
Looking at the relatively low price tag an Raxconn models on dealextreme I ordered 4 different models. All of them sounded quite well for the price but there was one model that sounded amazing. It was the RX-H076. Very powerful and punchy bass and great detail. I fitted them with triple flange tips (like Etymotic) and managed to achieve the best seal I ever achieved with any IEM's.
All of Raxconn's models that I have are made of aluminum and feel very solid though on some of them the cables feel a little thin.
I want to recommend those IEM's to everyone that have 10 bucks to spare and I want to hear impressions from other users.
