I recently lost my bronze Shure SE535's. Personally I did not like the cable, in particular the connectors (don't personally belieeve a wire should have any breaks in it); I had them 2 years after my previous Shure E5c's died on me which I loved.
Must have's:
- Ideal for electronic music - things like Groove Armada, Orbital, as well as the usual array of modern music
- Sound isolation - spend many long hours on international long-haul flights in my own IEM world away from "passenger announcements"
- In the ear ear comfort - may have them on for 15 hours at a time
- They will be used with an Emmeline "The Tomahawk" IEM amp from our friend Ray Samuels
Before I simply go buy a 535 replacement, I thought I would review what else would suit me....and my Tomahawk amp.
SE535
SE535 red (not clear the sound difference from std)
Klipsich10 (their comfort seems appealing)
Westone4
Anything else I overlooked??
THANKS!!!
