Well, I'm not even sure where to start with this.
 
My girlfriend asked me to pick her up a "nice" pair of headphones for her for xmas.  Problem is, they have to be look good on an asian girl who likes to be all cutesy and whatever (pink is a safe bet).  I'm sure comfort > sq here, as anything I find for her will probably blow whatever she's been using out of the water.  Problem is, the cute thing is a real limitation, and I'm at a complete loss.

Assuming this is around or less than $100; I don't know about "cute", but the Audio-Technica ATH-ES7 has always had my vote for "stylish". They're portable and sound great right out of a portable device and fold flat for easy storage.

The FC700 is an amazing deal from amazon, and very cool looking. Too bad they don't have the pink model though.  Edit -- even less on electronics expo, wow!
 
I'm looking at the ES-7s; trying to get a good price on them.   I imagine the ES-7s are probably more comfortable and have much better SQ than the FC700 but I probably can't go much over $100.

The ES7 is very comfortable and sounds great; M50's little brother in my opinion. Amazon usually has them for ~$89 but I guess they're out of stock for now. You have time so just check back.

Still.. if your GF likes pink, I would get the pink from accessory jack for $60 shipped. still a good price imo.

while I have never heard es7, from all accounts, es7 is better than fc700 or sq5.  But I can tell you that neither of those sound bad. They are pretty good.
