Has anyone else tried these? I just picked up some BH40 headphones from Behringer, and I'm intrigued. They sound pretty tasty to listen to, with nothing jumping out that irks me on first listen, to disqualify them. Crisp sound, sparkly. The high and lower mids seem to co-exist like sections of neopolitan ice cream, which stands out to me compared to the muddier KRK kns6402 studio headphones I compared them with.
Hard to tell if that means they are neutral or if there's a scoop... haven't ran any tests yet.
Construction-wise they feel plasticy, not flimsy per se. An odd aspect of the design is that the AKG style inner-headband is tethered with literal elastic cord! Not the worst thing ever, but hard to tell how long they'll last.
This is the second pair of Behringers I have liked the sound signature of, so I wonder if I should try a Behringer BH480NC in hopes of getting a more durable model.
