Beat audio cables unsuitable for JH13. Able to refund?

I have recently bought Beat audio cables and have found them to give intermittent sound with my JH13. I bought the stock JH cables and don't have any problem with them so my monitors are fine.
 
*update: cables will be fully returned and refuned.
