Imho the SR-009 and an early SR-007 MK1 fit the same purpose as your proposed Combination and they do have three options for a perfect amplifier: Stax T2, BHSE and KGSSHV
But this are assertions I am really looking forward to the Luminare - BHSE comparision with the 009 one of the earliest 007 ever sold in the EU and an Sigma pro (well some Lambdas will also be present) and some of the top (imho inherently inferior
Though question because I don't know the abyss, bit the SR-007 MK1 has the most beautiful voices Of both genders I know and is a clear winner over the LCD3. The best nonelectrostatic contender in this area was my HE-6.
And the HE-6 (I do not know) versus the SR-007 mk1?
The 007 is it not a bit veiled in the upper midrange?
In contrast, the HE-6 is not a little brighter?
(NB: however, according to users of the Luminare the HE-6 works very well with this amplifier in OTL mode ; idem with the RKV-II amp: http://tellementnomade.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=296781#p296781)
No luck for me, I gave to my brother the SR-007 mk2, but I have never listened to an (early) SR-007 mk1.
The photo is of my Baby Stax [ SR-003mk2 ] which I use with my BHSE, and with that amp they are without doubt the best valued stats phones I've ever heard.
A great review of this universal amplifier (the Luminare amp) here (link : http://casques-headphones.blogspot.fr/2015/03/un-amplificateur-transistors-tubes-et.html). Thank you very much Peter.
My conclusion from this review: the Luminare is a very interesting amplifier that deserves to be known and go lend a pair of ear (curious) with our favorite headphones.
(NB: the Germans will organize this month in Geseke (the weekend of 20-21 March) a meeting to do discover the Luminare at the public.

I like to joke, too.

Pierre does not find awesome the HD-800 stock (me too) ; he prefers other headphones (for example : the Chroma M2).
Yet it (HD-800) works well with the Luminare amp, but this remains an HD-800; I prefer the Stax SR-009 and LCD-3F.
Pierre (Peter) a reseller audio multi-brand (AudioValve - JPS - Stax - Grado etc.) but also a friend, told me:
" This amp is really amazing with this universality and this musicality.
At this price, there is absolutely no competition.
He works very strong (well) with all headphones, it's amazing.
It is so unique that I have the impression many do not realize this exceptional side of the Luminare. "
True / False?; real / not real?
A member of the forum HCFR on the Stax thread writes about the Luminare and Stax headphones:
" I just listened last week the couple luminare Stax sr007 mk2, it works very well... It is natural that I wanted to try a Stax model. The sr009 is in repair. I then put the abyss on my ears and back was impossible. Should I go back to listen to the sr009 and compare to find out which of the 2 I'd rather ? ". True / False?; real / not real?
KG said in this thread that the Luminare amp interested no person; the evidence, the low number of consultations on the dedicated thread.
Soon 10000 views on this american thread; soon 15000 views on the german thread and more than 34000 views (and 650 posts) on the french thread.
True / False?; real / not real?
And to conclude
,
Peeta Mellark says to Katniss Everdeen (in the American novel Hunger Games: end of volume 3):
-You love me. Real or not real ?
She replied - Real.
