It doesn't really bug me that people think Monster makes the best headphones as much as somebody thinks the JVC Gumy's are the best headphones ever.

You can't end ignorance, same thing back in the day when the electronic stores at least carried RPTVs. I saw 60'' DLPs on the floor in the back on clearance for $600 but here were people paying $2K+ for their shiny LCDs that now litter the showroom. They would always spell myths and half-truths about other TVs, also the employees since of course they are just ignorant or just want people to buy the more expensive item along with their $100 HDMI cables. Now days it's as if they don't even exist and i bet you can eventually get a 73'' for those ~$600.

I thought it was a fairly entertaining read. I'm actually a little surprised at the amount of quality suggestions. Nothing specific but certainly a few hit Sennheiser, Grado, and Audio Technica right on the head. Sure, there's some Monster and Bose suggestion but hey, I guess why they're called mass marketed :/

To be fair, there's a lot of garbage sold around here, too.

The difference is that the garbage here is even more expensive. Especially the New Clothes purchased from the Emperor.
