I want to connect the PC as source to the I2S input of the Holo Spring DAC Level 3 using up to PCM 384 kHz and DSD-512. I have two questions:

1 - According to my research there is no way to obtain this directly via I2S from the PC but the only way is passing through USB.
Can you confirm this?

2 - In case USB is confirmed the only option, I was evaluating the Audiobyte Hydra Z and the Singxer SU-1 KTE (Kitsune Tuned Edition). Any opinion / comparison?

Any other suggestion really appreciated

I doubt many have heard the Audiobyte outside Eastern Europe, tbh. The Singer has been reviewed well by many. You need to check the I2S pinout of a given unit works with the Holo. I think Kitsune will know; you could email them.

I think they sell both units.
