Is that jack between the speaker terminals the headphone jack? Not exactly the best location...

Nice looking amp, though.

Looks good, but unfortunately, its specs and sound quality were not part of the 3,000 words the pictures you posted conveyed to me.

Any chance you could elaborate on the unit?

Could not help but notice the USB in...

Details please...specs, reviews, pricing?

First link if a Google search produced a review: http://www.audioreview.com/MINIGALAXYcrx.aspx

It appears to be primarily a speaker amp 'cause the headphone plug is in the back.

The Mini Galaxy looks more like a speaker amplifier to me.
hint: look for speaker outputs on the back side..

Looks nice though!

A few quick answers:

Yes, the headphone jack on the back is a very poor design. It also lacks a switch to switch between the headphone and speaker. So I have to plug/unplug the headphone, IN THE BACK, to switch between the two. Maybe later I'll mod it by adding a switch.

Audio Space makes some interesting stuff. This is a new model. Their older houston mini have been reviewed somewhere. They have added a USB/DAC to this new model. The DAC shows up as the burr brown 2702. I compare using the built in DAC and the presonus CS driven from my iMac optical out, and I am not sure I can tell the difference.

This amp does drive my K701 very nicely, sounds noticibly better than the headphone out from the CS.
