Hello everyone, quick question. Has anyone upgraded their NFB-10SE to the newer usb-32dsd module? I emailed Kingwa about the possibility of the upgrade but have not gotten a reply yet.
 
Also, out of curiosity have people compared the 10SE to some of the newer combos out there for pure dac/amp  functionality. Namely the Oppo HA-1?
 
I really enjoy 10SE and connected a Schiit Valhalla 2 with some Siemens EC88 tubes and it was sibilant with the HD800. I assumed the Val2 was be a better amp. The voices were closer/ more intimate but it seems the balance out from the 10se was airier more spacious, I preferred the balanced out of the 10SE. So I am looking to see what I can do to improve the 10SE, either with the newer usb32 card with a non powered usb cable, or use a Gustard U12 and connect via COAX digital.
 
Any opinions or recommendations?
