What is more interesting than Master 19 vs Master 9MK3

Is the placement of the PSU. Now the amp is "wider" but not as deep. Very very nice to see. I think Kingwa took notes here.

However it opens up real big assumptions for the next releases. Or not?

Very close to R1N in length

I am rooting for a new entrylevel DAC with builtin amp....."it is coming!" I have a strong feeling

If Kingwa has managed to get better sound quality out of a smaller set-up (there's obviously a switch to surface-mount transistors) then that's fantastic. The new Master 9 does look like a Master 19 internally though, with only a couple of differences.

Agree competely,
I think Kingwa's higher end DACs are too deep. Maybe this is also the right placement of the PSU for upcoming DACs?

The REGs does take up space so I am assuming R8MK3 at same size😍
- wait that one is already in new chassis. Hmm

I am thinking one will match the 9MK3 but which one

Nice combo!

However I still believe a smaller formfactor/entrylevel AIO could be possible

Is there merit to my concern of there being different types of relays used for the volume control, black vs white relays?

Me personally I'm staying away from this new model. The front panel looks way to congested. Plus I'm a fan of the master 19's symmetry.

The similarities between the new master 9 and the master 19 seem like the 19 will be phased out. Might be a sign to get one while you can. Although honestly it's a hard choice seeing that there are more than a couple used master 9's from pre HE-9LE update available too.

Is there an Audio GD amp or AIO that is good for IEMs but is also a good preamp in a speaker setup (and everything in between)? Is it the HE-9 MKIII or has it to much power to handle high sensitive IEMs?

I agree. Thanks to the black version, this congested look will be eliminated

Just asK Kingwa about IEM. They are likely better supported with the he9 mkiii.

I'm not sure about the he-9 but I believe on the master 19, there is an option to reduce the power via a jumper on the board.

I've already done that, of course. The answer didn't come from Kingw personally but it wasn't entirely clear, as always. According to the answer no amp would be suitable. If I understood correctly.
The Master-9 mkiii is stated to have to gain mode to handle high-sensistivity cans more adequately. The other concern is with the noise floor. I can try the he9 mkii with my own IEM when i have a minute.
