As I just saw the Audeze Mobius announcement, I wonder if anyone here has some inside information?
All I have seen is that there is a new headphone arriving, and that they also possibly will have a "creators edition" / mastering suite in the same series.

Calling it: wireless planar magnetic headphones with the sound quality of the Sine... for $299.

I’ll probably eat my words once we see the final release materials but God those are ugly. My wallet is ready, just wondering what happened to the gorgeous BMW Designworks designs? I think they’re probably forgoing the cost on “budget” models like the iSine LX and the Mobius to make it cheaper for the mass market, but still an odd design direction.

Take my money. I hope you are right in price but I’m guessing 299 is too low.

Yeah, in reality I’m thinking $299-$399 but after seeing the iSine LX at $199 I think it’s possible. Since it doesn’t have the all-leather design of the Sine I don’t see it being higher than $399. Probably $349 to compete with the other top wireless headphones.

There’s also a 3D audio switch on the headphones.

Confused with the direction here as audiophile headphones typically don’t need the gimmicks. All will be clear soon. I put my full faith in Audeze here that this will be a game-changer.

Personally hoping for a Bluetooth Sine successor.

With the new info my guess is that these are for virtual reality applications. Would make sense why there’s a creators’ version in that case.

I’ve surpassed the state of merely having too many headphones but I’m curious nonetheless. :) My Audeze EL-8C, though, I must say, have really become “show cans” as I found the sound signature rather sterile and unmusical, and those headphones are the only Audeze headphones I’ve ever heard.
