Does anyone have the PEQ settings for UAPP? The filter types don't quite match what was recommended from Audeze. Thanks

Can’t stop listening to this combo. Tubes are a must try with the i4’s.

Been a few years since last time I listened to division bell by pink Floyd. Now I'm listening with the lcdi4. I've never heard such bliss.
Do you use the CIPHER cable or a regular cable with no DSP processing?
I see in various reviews that the LCD-i3 sounds wrong without the CIPHER cable and DSP processing - I was wondering if the LCD-i4 suffered from the same issue? If so, does some equalization remedy the problem?
Thanks!

I believe cipher is for Apple only? I'm using zx507 3.5mm at the moment. Yet to get a balanced cable. And yes I have eq'd them through the dap

UAPP only supports 6 bands.

Analog bell ~ point/parametric filter.
Low shelf is also reqd.

I have only applied the important pmeq. After applying these settings the overall output will decrease by ~5db. This has to be compensated by your amp/
UAPP offers more features including streaming as compared to neutron.

Neutron supports more bands. One can emulate the cipher eq on this app. Neutron is perfect for offiline playing.
If you have an android based player then you should try.

Search for UAPP in this thread. There are few people who have posted their settings.

I like i4 with cipher eq/reveal plugin. But, there are some people who like it in the stock form. I believe with cipher eq i4 sounds tonally correct. Its better to try yourself. Desktop apps like Audirvana/roon allows better DSP control.

Awesome thanks! The most recent version of UAPP supports up to 10 filters but cannot display the resulting curve when increasing to 10. However, your settings look nearly identical to what I see on the Reveal plugin curve.

Has anyone been able to make them work on AK SP1000M? EQ seems lacklustre in my opinion :)
I had sp1000 cu for more than a year. EQ on AK players is not good. Its not a proper PMEQ like dx220/lpgt etc.

You're welcome !
I was not aware about the update.
Yes, I copied the reveal plugin settings as it is in the app.
Cheers

Oriolus ba300s performs very well with i4.
It has real tube sound in portable form.
The vocals have lushness , smoothness. The mids are bodied, forward.
There is a nice treble sparkle without any sibilance or harshness.
The soundstage is the best feature of this amp.
It’s very wide and deep. Imaging is still very good.
Bass is slightly on the softer/slower side as compared to SS amps.

Ba300s lacks amp stage. It only provides gain.I have tried it as a preamp/double amp with my other portable SS amps. The final sound has a hybrid signature. Very pleasing

Also, there is no hiss/hum with i4.

To change the permanent settings you need the Apple app. But it works on Android and other devices with an adapter.

I use it with my Asus RoG Phone 2.
