If you've heard these two cans, which do you think is best? (The Beyers are 32 ohm).

I will be using them strictly for gaming, and am looking for decent bass and sound stage. I have heard that the 990s have sibilant highs, but this is hopefully toned down with the use of Dolby Headphone.

I need to choose between the two of them soon, so any help would be most appreciated!

Dt990 would be better for gaming.
From listening to the 250ohm Dt 990, the bass is deeper, better quality and response is very good.
900x sounds more distant cause of its airiness and might sound colder on gaming.

I own the ATH-A900X and DT990 250-Ohm and DT990 600-Ohm.
Which DT990 model are you looking at?
Do you have a decent amp to drive the DT990?
Have you considered the ATH-AD900X?
