So, I'm upgrading from my current Asus Xonar STX + Little Dot MkV setup to something more high end.

Which DAC or DAC/amp combo up to about 600-700 dollars would you recommend?
I can get a used M1-DAC for 300 dollars, which is why its included in this comparison, otherwise it would be too expensive for me.  If I were to get a M1-DAC, I'd probably get some neutral amp with loads of power, like Audio GD C2.2.   On the other hand, Essence one offers both a DAC and Amp for 600-700 dollars.

Headphones are HD650, Q701 and  HFI2400's. BUT, in near future I will get HD700's, so that would be the headphone for which the setup must work.

Any advice on what to take?

Also, feel free to recommend any other separate DAC + amp, or DAC/amp all in one combo, as long as it doesn't go over 700 dollars.
