.

I had this problem two times on my sr25 MkII in one and half year. Another owner told that he had to change the battery 3 times. So be prepared to change it regularly.

Battery charge management is not smart on the sr25. The player heats up during charging, which would be understandable if it were an ultra-fast charge, but not when charging for 2.5 hours. The player is also hot during playback, which is not normal either.

I had intended to buy a top-of-the-range model, but I've lost confidence. In Europe, the after-sales service took 2 months to send me back the player and 2 months later the battery was swelling again. A&K, what a shame !

I decided to use my own solution to solve the problem. Since then, there's been no heating up when using or charging, and no swelling of the battery for 9 months now, when I've been using it every day.
Hello,

Can you please share what your solution was? In my case, my battery is swollen yes and I contacted official distributor in Istanbul(I live in Turkey). They took my device and kept me waiting for 2 months. In the end they let me know that they can not import lithium batteries due to the custom rules in Turkey. And as an end customer, I can confirm that I can not purchase lithium batteries from Aliexpress or anywhere else. So my only solution is to buy it and send it to a friend who lives abroad for him to bring it to me next time he comes to Turkey.

But I would rather go for a shorter route if there is a battery hack or something. I've seen a video about Samsung battery being used as replacement, did you do that? Or purcased a spare battery? If so can you provide me a link?

And @JasonNYC I doubt it but anything you can do to help me on my case?

I left a message for our global repair head. Once I have more info, I will follow up with a PM. It is currently the weekend in Korea, so I will need to wait until Monday for a response.
