It's rather irritating that a device that is still available to buy, new, cannot run the latest XAPK installer and current TIDAL client. Makes me wonder how long before the most recent, supported, TIDAL client isn't supported by TIDAL's backend (or how far back you can go on the TIDAL client before that part breaks). As well as when other streaming clients will require more recent versions of Android.
Notwithstanding the increased size, weight, and reduced storage of the SP3000 putting me off it in the first place, the above sort of thing doesn't inspire any desire to replace my SP2000 with an SP3000 either.
Every "step forward" I see with more recent DAPs just seems to add two more reasons to not bother and just run a dongle off my phone. Sure, the DAP sounds better; but in the situations where I would still use it, environmental noise and distractions wipe out that advantage.
