Internally, noticed this same issue this week, only affecting the SP3000 and SP3000T. If you were logged in before this week, it should still be logged in.

We are discussing with the Roon team and hope to have an update before the end of the week.

Unfortunately no update from Roon yet. The issue seems to be affecting only devices with the Qualcomm SnapDragon 665 CPU and not limited to AK. Other DAPs that use the same CPU are also experiencing the same issue. Reached out to the Roon team again to ask for an update.

No. The SP3000T has extra buttons that the SP3000 does not have. There is a power button on top of the SP3000T and an extra button on the side to change amp modes without having to go into settings.

I have a Enleum AMP-23r, can anybody answer if it's possible to connect the SP3000 to the AMP-23r via 3.5mm to RCA and use it as a Dac and streamer?

I haven’t done this with the Enleum but I’ve done it with my Raal HSA-1b and Raal Phones. You just need a 3.5mm to RCA adaptor either made for you or just buy one of several sold by Amazon. I bought the Audioquest adaptor purely on the basis it’s a known brand. Just set the SP3000 to line out, activate this by one click on the volume control and all should be fine.

I also tried a cheaper unknown branded adaptor from Amazon and I sensed the Audioquest was better but would I hear the difference in a blind test? I doubt it. But in reality I didn’t try. I use a Holo May DAC in my main system and I did notice that the spatial qualities of the May were missing when I substituted in the SP3000 but the overall tonaility was not so far away. It sounded better when used as a Roon endpoint that as a stand-alone DAP because I could still engage the convolution filters in Roon which I use with the Raal phones. Hope this helps.

Not sure if this has been discussed, I can’t find mention of it, but recently I’ve tried updating my sideloaded Tidal and Qobuz apps on the SP3K and while the device goes through the motions, the old version doesn’t get updated. So I’m currently running Tidal 2.92.0, when the download tab shows 2.98.2 as the latest version. For Qobuz I’m running 7..8.0.0 while the download tab shows 7.13.0.0 as the latest version.
Has anyone else noticed this?

After you copy the new version to the player, I assume you are then installing it?

Regarding Roon Arc, does anyone here have a DAP from a different manufacturer and are having issues logging into Roon Arc? I swear I saw some posts in other threads about other DAPs experiencing the same issue we've been seeing on the SP3000 and SP3000T, but can't find them right now. If so, can you please PM me? Trying to put together some additional info for the Roon team. Thanks!
