Ok, just installed the newest VIA Envy drivers, b/c I heard they finally fixed the volume bug. Problem is, kernel streaming and ASIO4All now refuse to function. Period. Have tried multiple un- and re-installs of the drivers, as well as ASIO4All, but no dice. Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

System config:
Celeron 533
192MB PC100 RAM
Win2000 + SP4
Chaintech AV-710
Via Envy24 HT-S drivers (v.4.42a)
foobar2000 v0.8.3
ASIO4All v2.3

foobar2000 is set to output @ 24-bit padded to 32-bit, output device is ASIO4Allv2. A4A off-line control panel reports that ENVY24 WDM device is "Beyond Logic".

edit: also relevant, on my last trip to Windows Update, I applied the "Via Multimedia Device" driver update, thinking it would automagically give me the newest Via Vinyl drivers. No dice, unfortunately, but I now suspect that this has something to do with it. Any advice on finding & removing this thing?
