I'm thinking of getting a pair of ASG 2.5 but am concerned about the fit. The InEar Sd-3 normal version was a bit too large for me, but the small fit well.

Anybody's had both or has smaller ears and can comment on this?

I have above average sized ears and the 2.5s fit me very well with space to move around. They are not overly big imo and should fit most people unless you have like freakishly small ears. I believe westone make some of the smallest multi driver iems at the moment so you might want to look at them if size is a major concern.
