For those of us that are not yet sold on SACD (DVD-A whatever)
What artists back catalogue you'd like to see remastered to these new formats before you are sold? Sure the more the better but let's get to the bare bone minimum
I'l open with my absolute must list

Talking Heads
David Byrne
The B52s
Tom Waits
Nick Cave

Electronic music.

Autechre's back-catalog practically begs for SACD remastering.

It'll never happen, though, so I won't ever have any use for SACD.

Some of my favourites (followed, in parens, by what is already available in digital high-res):

Pink Floyd (already: one SACD)
Tangerine Dream (although I probably won't get them all -- too many) (already: one SACD)
Skinny Puppy (nothing)
Kraftwerk (nothing)
Yes (two DVD-A, Close to the Edge coming later this year)
Rush (nothing)
Vangelis (nothing)
Mike Oldfield (one SACD)

Would also like to see lots more 80's stuff -- Talking Heads' Remain in Light, King Crimson's Discipline, etc.

Also, would like to see the street price of the corresponding DVD-A/SACD compete with the street price of the CD. That's really the only way you're going to sway the fence-sitters.

I would say Smashing Pumpkins, but unfortunately, their albums are already so badly recorded it wouldn't matter much. It's a shame because their music is amazing.

I already have an SACD player, but only because I needed a new DVD player and this one was cheap.
I would like to find some music I like on SACD.

AC/DC
Motley Crue
Offspring
ZZ Top
AC/DC
Paul McCartney & Wings
Yes
The Doors
AC/DC

I think Cradle of Filth could make some awesome multi-channel SACD discs.

Neil Young
Roger Waters (especially Pros & Cons)
Doors (especially Morrison Hotel)
Beach Boys
Miles Davis Quintet '55/'56 Sessions (Cookin' Steamin' Relaxin' Workin')
