I read somewhere and on Head Direct's site a while ago that the RE-ZERO are a limited edition iems that they would be discontinuing soon. Is this true or did I misinterpret it.

Thanks for that, I snooped around a bit more and apparently they were a 1000 unit limited edition. However, they probably decided to continue production due to its popularity and ability to furthur increase profit margins.

I think the so called limited edition could well be those that comes with the 4 poles balanced plug. All the current ZERO doesn't have those anymore.

Yes, the one that you can used with balanced output amp and the upcoming HM801 balanced amp module.

any chance for us with the annoying adaptors to exchange it for a new adaptor-less version ?

Mr Fang ?

btw , my zeros still get listening hours even after receiving the 262 - too nice treble to just put them away for good.

Yea I am missing my ZERO's greatly. I almost threw my brainwavz m1 in the trash after I got them. They sound like complete crap in comparison (Actually they sound like crap to all other IEMs Ive ever heard). All I have to listen to with now is my mx580 earbud. Maybe Ill go for the zero again.
