Are the drivers in Triple.fi 10Pro and UE 10Pro exactly the same?

Hi,

I am recently considering gettin a triple fi from UE. After reading up on their web site info they stated that they use the same technology as the 10pro. Does anyone know if the drivers and components are the same? If so how do you think UE justify such a huge price difference since most people can get a custom mold from a third party for under 150USD. Thanx for your inputs in advance!

Thanx David,

I thought so too... otherwise the UE10Pro would be a really terrible deal after the release of the triple.fi. Since I think you own both triple.fi and 10Pro do you think the triple.fi will come close in SQ with custom mold? Or maybe I should just wait a little longer (save more $$$) and get the UE10Pro because they are so much better?

they are the same drivers but the crossover circuit board is different, the ue10 has a board the triple fi does not.

its a little hard for me to explain but it is a case of different crossovers and so on...not different drivers.

ofcourse im not 100% sure but this is what my research has found
