i own an apacer usb/flash card reader that is both rugged, dependable and inexpensive. if the mp3 player is anything like it, should be goods

Just to let you know don't expect much when it comes to sound quality...I've found that very cheap mp3 players actually sound very cheap also...
Although I've never listened to an apacer...so I can't say for that particular brand..

Well yeah of course, but the seno's my Shuffle replacement.

The simple "no bells and whistles" design cought my attention.Since they are so cheap i may buy one to try it,if the sound is close to the shuffle SQ i'll be happy

Apacer is a computer memory product manufacturer AFAIK. I have their DDR2RAM modules in my PC, no problems so far

Looks like a nice and small mp3player but there's probably many products to choose from.
