AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player

Prior to posting on here I did send a video of the loose wheel to Hidizs and they said to send it in. So perhaps mine is a bit looser than it should be? Do others have loose wheels too? Have any of you had them pop off? I know I saw one of them on this forum that had a wheel pop off.

Hi, could someone tell me if you can use the hardware buttons or wheel to scroll through the artist and album lists? I wanted to upgrade from my Shanling M1 but I wear gloves a lot when I'm outdoors so navigating solely through touchscreen might be an issue.

The wheel is for volume only. You can use the buttons to move through tracks in the now playing album or folder, but not to scroll through artists or albums.

The button usage is wildly inconsistent - it works to navigate some lists but not others. The wheel is volume only, I believe.

@Tweety 99 'So someone has any update on AP80 copper since?' ..here you go. Wow this thing looks gorgeous (very steam punk) and will only get better - lets just hope this unit last for a long long time so as get the age old patina. Might become a collectors item in the far future.
