Just Bought some CRESYN CS-HP600K from newegg.com for only 15$ and free shipping. I needed some cheap portable headphones and thought I would give them a try.

Link to the HP http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826783012&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-

Anyways Was just wondering If anyone has had any experience with this brand because I have not. If they are bad I could always return them without any issues but I mean They were only 15$. They are normally 49.99 on newegg.

You got a great deal! I bought one myself. If you don't like em you can sell on Amazon, ebay etc. and get your money back easily even after the return period. These might be the best you can do right now for $14.99 shipped as far as portables go.

The only problem is that it isn't earlier in the week. I usually get stuff from Newegg in one day. The order also said scheduled to arrive in one day but UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday so I'll have to wait till Monday, lol!

Cresyn is one of the largest (if not *the* largest) headphone maker in the world and OEMs for a staggering number of companies.  Phiaton is Cresyn's in-house, high end audio line.

I'll update with my impressions on the CS-HP600. I use to have a Denon P372 and these clearly show they had to be the OEM for the 372. Many of the same parts of the headband, similar pads and they have the same specs except the driver is 38mm instead of 35mm. They do sound better and are better made with a hefty cable and tighter tolerances. No creaks like the P372.

With the Titanium coated drivers they do have a sound that closely resembles the Koss sound signature but better. More grown up, bigger more refined and textured, more extension on both ends, better and quite seductive mids. Better but still fun and engaging like the Koss drivers.

The design show Cresyn's experience. A balance between lightness and solid build quality. A design that is very clever. They fit tightly enough so you get decent isolation and stay on and are very stable on the head. The weight, while light is still well balanced and this helps them stay totally put for me. They also are designed where the cans fit you but the cups and headband are towards the front. While not as small as an ultra-portable like my previous ES55, the bigger Cresyn can be worn w/o issue laying down and in high back recliners as long as said pillow or recliner isn't one that you really sink into. Of course at that point nothing but earphones would work:) These are one of the best at this esp. for their size.

I like these better than all of my previous portables worth mentioning. Mostly from memory so no direct comparisons(only have the Koss left)They are better than the P372. Also, the ZX700, Koss UR55(rear screens removed), ES55, and the KRK6400. Only the KRK is outright technically better but they didn't fit me right and couldn't seal in their bass. I do know for sure that none beat them in low bass extension nor had mids as sweet. The most enjoyable of the bunch for certain.

A great deal at $15 shipped. I bought two phones recently. The CS-HP600 and a pricier CKS77LTD earphones. The Cresyn are clearly the better listen with more detail/texture, lower reaching bass, much better mids and a bigger stage. I had them in my cart a while back when Newegg had them for $39.99 shipped but didn't pull the trigger. I probably should have. Thanks to Dyjon54 for letting us know about the deal otherwise I may not have picked them up at all and that would be a shame as they are one of my favorite signatures I've heard in a portable. They have a great design and solid technical ability which leaves me quite satisfied in all aspects not just price.
