I didn't find a thread specific for this genre so I thought I'd make one myself. If I'm wrong please direct me to that thread. For those who dont recognize "chill hop", I'm talking about Nujabes, Nomak, DJ Okawari, etc. I kind of just got into this genre recently and i love it. Tell me what you guys think about it and some songs if you guys already knew this genre!

Here are some examples of what I'm talking about:

Next Dimension - Nomak
Moon Flow - Nomak
Bluebird Story - DJ Okawari (feat. Jumelles)

This genre is great for those times when you just want to relax.

Resurrecting this old thread, as I really enjoy this genre.
One of my favorites is Hugo Kant, and I encourage everyone that is into Trip-hop/ Nu-Jazz/ down tempo/electronic to give him a listen 👌

Poldoore is another great artist in this genre IMO.
Not quite as Jazzy as Hugo Kant, but more trip-hop focused with a touch of Funk and Big band sound. Lots of great album's to explore, the above is his latest work, but some of the older ones are fantastic too 👌

Chill Hop is my go to music at work. I'm also working on another degree and this is my study music. It is perfect in the background to drown out more distracting stuff. Pro tip, I play this when mama is hungry or angry (usually the same thing with her) and she seems to calm down a bit. Later she comments on how calming my music was.

Gas Lab! He was my introduction. He has sort of expanded into more mainstream music, but his core is there. JoJo Mojo is cool too.
Thanks 👍 Will gave both a listen :)
