Recreationally I play Ultimate Frisbee and Basketball often (more so when its not so cold outside), and have recently started taking Muay Thai classes.

I haven't done any competitive sports since sailing (and I was never very competitive at that

I'm in my senior year and run D1 Cross Country and Track & Field. The program wasn't that great my freshman year, but we've built it up over the years to the point where this year in XC we won the A10 Conference championship and were actually ranked in the top 40 teams in the nation. That was quite an honor...

In case anyone is wondering, my 8K is 24:55 and my 1500 is 3:52. I'm hoping to run a sub-14:20 5K, sub-8:20 3K, and hopefully as close to 4:00 in the mile as possible

I think this is wrong type of question for this forum.

Be interesting if you ask what the height and weight of the average member of this forum is?

I played in the outfield; mainly left or right and occasionally in center. Its amazing how fast a career will end with shoulder surgery.

I just recently started swimming again - been 8 years since I quit after high school. Now I compete in US Masters Swimming. Everything there is divided by sex and age group - starts with the 20-24 age bracket and goes all the way up to 90+ in 5 year increments. That way, achieving top ten national times in several events is a solid possibility for me. Plus it's fun keeping up with and sometimes beating top ten world ranked 40-somethings

The 5:30 AM practices my team (Cobb Stringrays) offers are proving a difficult adjustment.

I'm 40 years old and I just started playing lacrosse again this fall (after 10 years off, a divorce and heart problems) in an indoor league in Jersey. Three weeks ago, I had the pleasure of getting my clock cleaned, taken to school and shown the door by this guy who plays professional lacrosse for the Philadelphia Barrage. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs. and this dude is 6'2", 190 lbs. and was the NCAA Division II player of the year. I couldn't walk straight for two weeks, but man, for someone who didn't think he'd ever get a chance to play again, was it ever worth it!

I lettered in three sports in HS (football, wrestling, and track), the cumulative toll of which, is that now I don't have a single limb without osteoarthritis!
