Braxton is releasing a monstrous 10-disc (9 CD + 1 DVD) box set, which I have already received from an old friend (who is the main producer of the release). I am definitely getting it signed down at the DMG by the man himself on the 28th - should be very exciting to finally meet my biggest musical influence by far!

Anyway, somebody's released a 6 minute preview of the DVD on YouTube, thought a few people would be interested in seeing it.

I'm going to be catching every set of Mr. Braxton's run at the Iridium club in NYC. Anybody else attending?

I love Braxton's saxophone playing, and I like his music, but I haven't developed a love for it just yet. I haven't heard any of the GTM stuff, but what I've heard about it kinda suggests I wouldn't be in to it. Still, if he booked four nights at a club anywhere in the Bay Area you can bet I'd be there just the same.
