I was browsing bursons website and I just saw another new burson offering.This one is a dedicated headphone amp that is rated at 2 watts a channel. There are facilities for two analog inputs.The units has two selectable gain settings one high and one low.The new soloist sl has a alps pot instead of the stepped attenuator on the regular soloist amp.There is no price listed on the website.It has a potted transformer and not quite as beefy as the one in the soloist.I wonder if the price on this one is less than the ha-160.And even if it the same it looks to a better value given its two watt per channel rating.
Oh well I imagine the resale value on the ha-160 will take another hit once the news of this one gets around.
