Bot mine in Hong Kong for about US$140.
SQ was fairly clear and precise and relatively neutral.

I sold it within a week. Why?
1/ It had an annoying background hiss which I'm not sure if it's unique to my unit, but the HK retailer wasn't helpful in a swap.
2/ I could no longer deal with the inefficient and complicated interface anymore.

IMO, it was terribly overhyped as you can see from some of these feedback, but I bot into it.

Lesson learned.

The hiss isn't relegated to your unit. I've heard two units, both massively hissy with almost every earphone and even most of my lowΩ headphones. I love it for the long battery life and crazy styling, but the AMP3 Pro and 2 weren't ready for production. It is sad that HSA took them off production and support as a lot of people have players now that have no software life left. No updates, no fixes, no nothing. Sad, but true.
