I just purchased the Denon AH-D2000, wow, they sound good and much better than the AH-A100, which I returned, but I know they can sound even better with an iPod, so which amp would you recommend for these headphone and the iPod Touch 4G?

What would be cool is a case with amp included, does that exist at all?

Thanks a lot

What is your budget?

I went with the FiiO E7/E9 combo and it kicks ($190).

The E7 alone drives these cans very well and it can be had for less than $100 and it gives you a DAC.

I've only had my d2000s a short time but they are easily my favorite headphone i've heard.

+ 1 on the E7 solo.. sounded suprisingly alright.  But this was in DAC+amp mode, using them from a ipod would not be worth doing. I'm sure the E9 will give all the power you need.

I have mine running through a Matrix M-Stage Amp which is little more expensive than a E7+E9 combo and you dont get a DAC in the deal  but is a great amp.
