Hi, im just new to head-fi and i would buy an amp.

My rig is composed by a Apple ipod 5g video and a pair of Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 pro.

I would spend like 150-180 dollars.

The amp must me portable indeed, cool looking and sound improving. Some basses are welcome.

For ex, is the Ibasso P3 a good choice?

I dont have much experience with IEM's so cant comment.

I have HD555 currently and i am getting an amp for them instead of Upgrading the headphones because it ll cost much less.

I've only tried Tomahawk amp which is ok for un-modded ipod 5g. for the price you want to pay you can get a nice second hand amp(try the amp sale session here). Here is some info for the cable needed for IPOD Line Out Jack. Head-Direct.com | YUIN
