[AKGQ701]

As the title states, I'm wondering what would be a good amp/dac combination to pair with orthos like the Oppo PM-2. Budget is probably around $500 for both the amp/dac.

Are you looking for a DAC/AMP combo. (all-in-one solution) ?
or you want 2 separate pieces (better for future upgrade / customization) ?

I guess that separate pieces would be ideal just in case I do upgrade in the future (probably to the HD-800 at some point), but if a all in one solution is more cost effective then that works as well. In short, I'd like to get the most performance out of the money I spend.
