My new pair of LCD-Xs should be arriving in the next few days, and I was wondering if it was worth upgrading my amp/dac setup. I currently have the m stage dac and amp located here. A couple specific needs for my setup:
 
1. I also have a pair of 650s that I would still like to listen to, so I'd need the amplification for their ~300ohm impedance as well as the LCD-Xs 22ohm. 
 
2. I'd like to have a preamp out on the amp so I can control my desktop speakers as well. If all else fails I could buy a passive preamp like the one Schiit makes, but it would be nice to have all the volume control in one knob. 
 
3. My budget is ideally around ~1000.

Schiit just updated they gear, so maybe take a look at the Valhalla 2 or Lyr 2 with a Bifrost.  Both now have preamp outs.

Thanks, I saw that and checked it out. I just discovered the oppo ha-1 was released recently, and I am leaning towards that at the moment
