On my routine check on Amazon, it seems like the EW9 clip-on has dropped from their usual $200 mark to $150. I don't think I've encountered any reviews/impression of the clip-on variant on Head-Fi - but the price is very alluring, especially if they are the same as the normal ESW9 (or mostly the same). I'm hesitant to pull the trigger and buy, because I like conventional headbands and these might have different a different sound signature, isolate not as well, or put weight on my ears/glasses.

Anyone got experience with these clip-ons? And to confirm/soothe my worries?

These are in no way similar headphones except for the fact they are made by the same company. I do own both and I promise you if you are looking for something similar to the ESW9 the clip-ons are not it. And $150-ish is still too much to pay for them.
