Howdy everyone. First post here. I'm looking for for case can fit the LCDs but it's also portable enough to put in a back pack. I've the display case but even with the travel case it's still too big for most backpacks. Right now I'm putting them in my heavy padded camera bag. Does anyone actually carry the Audeze travel case around holding the handle?

I think Headroom sells a soft case but I must assume its not enough padded for your needs.

Head-direct sells a hard case for their HIFIMAN models, I don't know for sure if fits properly but it should be your best option considering the Audeze  and He-400/500 size. You can always cut some of the internal foam, and the price is unbeatable

May I ask? How often do you carry your headphones with you?

Don't own Audeze so can't try for myself but they might fit in the Slappa Hardbody Pro (full size version) which I've been happy with.

e: Hadn't tried my HE-400 with this case yet. Just tried it now and it fits nicely but there's not a huge amount of room to spare so if the Audeze are much larger it would not work. Cup diameter would be the limiting factor.
