I have a set of Carbo Tenores and I really like their sounds..the problem is when I use the it feels like theyre going to pull my eardrums out with how much suction they generate. Now Ive heard you just cut off a bit of headphone tip and get it in between the tip and the body of the IEM it vents it and relieves the pressure...yes this works.but it also sucks all the bass out of the IEMs and makes them sound very flat.
So is there a good sounding pair of IEMs...that sounds as good as the carbo tenores, hopefully a bit bass biased too, that won't suck my eardrums out for around 50 bucks?
