Hi everyone, I just recently discovered this board as I was searching for some answers. I was wondering if anyone can recommend some IEMs or closed-back headphones that are similar to the Grado sound? I realize that the open-back design of the Grados is a big pat of the sound but I am just looking for something close, because I don't enjoy using the Grado in a noisy environment or at work where the sound leakage disturbs people.

any suggestions.

looking for something at or under $250.

I use a pair of Sony MDR-7506 for while I'm at work. They aren't really the same as Grado's because I doubt that is really possible with a closed-back headphone, but they produce a surprisingly good sound for a steal of a price.

I've also never had anyone mention sound leakage and I've even asked before to make sure, so I would say they are sound leak proof headphones.
