The Backbeat series are probably just rebranded UE Metro.fi earphones. I believe they are based on the older series: MF100, MF150, and MF2/200. I haven't tried them, so I'm unsure of their sound.

Really? I got MF200 before, but returned them finally, Not impressive with its sound sig, good bass is for sure, but not very promissing at vocal part, detail and having feeling that it is veiled somehow.

Later after having ue 5 pro, I am pleased with the improvement it give me

I can confirm that they are ue metro-fi since i got backbeat plus mobile. The button and the cables are identical to metro.fi 150 which i used to have until i losted them last year. Must have fell out of my jeans pockets. Nothing that impressive like nu force ne-7m which i also have. I use them when I take bus since the bus is loud that there is no point to having anything nice. They sound very good compare to the original headphone that comes with any mp3 player that all i can about them.
